I dont know what it is but everytime I come to sanborns I gotta have the Enchiladas Swisas and a vanilla milkshake. Cant go wrong. They also have a nice bar menu. Good spot for Mexican food.

Best Samborns in Guadalajara in my opinion. Parking lot has trees and price for it is reasonable. Good parking alternative when going to Plaza del Sol. Store has good selection of all goods usually sold in this chain. Not usually very crowded. Staff is very friendly and get to recognize and help you if you're a regular.

(12/25/24) This is probably one of the few traditional places in Guadalajara. Great service and fantastic location. If you stay in the Intercontinental hotel this place is just crossing the street and has food, bar, pharmacy, books and other services. Pros: Service, Price, location and very decent food flavors Cons: Despite the fact they have made improvements during the time they have been open during the years, this is indeed an old place that needs some building fixes.

The shop section is ok, covers most of your basic needs. The bakery section is definitely a step up from your usual fare, so well worth buying a pastry or two. It's when you visit the restaurant that things get interesting. Many people belive that you can find the same traditional mexican dishes elsewhere at a cheaper price, and this is definitely true, but if you're looking for the convenience of having everything in one place that you can comfortably visit without worrying about hours or risking getting sick, this is the place to be.

Great service, the enchiladas suizas are excellent and they prioritize the number of people that enter the establishment to keep safe distance
